Positions Purpose :

  1. Plant equipment/asset maintenance to increase reliability and performance efficiency, while minimizing unscheduled/unplanned breakdown / plant interruptions.
  2. Inventory management/ warehousing/ spare parts management: Ensure, establish and enable that inventory and spare parts are maintained at proper level, to minimize, if not eliminate, unwarranted downtime due to lack of parts.
  3. EHS: Execute and champion Cargill environment, health and safety procedures in maintenance department and plant operations
  4. Maintenance & Reliability: Design the Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance program, and champion the execution/implementation of the program
  5. Equipment specifications: Provides input to Plant Manager in reviewing existing specification and design criteria to fit best-known design/technology (provide inputs from history and experience).

REQUIREMENTS
1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Knowledge:  Technical/engineering calculations and theories.
3. Willing to work at remote location
4. Good analysis and application

Knowledge “areas”:

  1. Mechanical equipment, especially related to copra crushing plant operations
  2. Engineering knowledge – unit operations and transport processes, machine elements, power plant, material property, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
  3. Supervision and management
  4. Budget preparation
  5. Cost control
  6. Accounting / Management Reporting comprehension
  7. Local government relations: Understand the procedures related to customs and custom clearance, taxes and duties, critical equipments government regulation requirements.
