ACCOUNTANT/ FINANCE MANAGER
(based in Jakarta, Indonesia)
Based in Jakarta, reporting to General Manager, and Regional Finance Manager (Singapore), you will be managing our company’s financial and day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring high standards of financial control and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing overall financial and accounting function, including full sets of accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, tax compliance, annual statutory audits
- Reviewing and implementing internal control procedures, work processes and ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
- Timely and accurate management/statutory reporting to relevant authorities and headquarters
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agent, corporate secretary, banks and legal matters
Key Requirements:
- A good degree in Accountancy with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial accounting, preferably gained in international organisations or those with regional scale operations
- Prior international exposure or working experience will be a plus
- Possess sound knowledge of local accounting practices, tax laws and regulations and be conversant with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Excellent analytical, communication & interpersonal skills with high adaptability to a cross-cultural environment
- A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
- Enthusiastic and resourceful with a “can do” spirit
