Research Officer for Early Childhood Education and Development

AusAID and several universities in Australia are working together to develop the capacity of Indonesian early career academics in the area of Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED). These individuals will be responsible for analitycal work and survey suoervision related to an impact evaluation of the Early Childhood Education and Development project currently being implemented by the Ministry of National Education (MONE) and funded by a loan from the World Bank.

Candidates should meet the following selection criteria:

  • Affiliation with Indonesia Research University at faculty with focus on ECED (Candidates must be lecturers or teaching assistant)
  • Undertaking last year or completed master degree in public health, psychology, economics, education, biostatistics, epidemiologi, or related field.
  • Demonstrated work relating to ECED, and demonstrated potensial for conducting ECED research
  • Familiarity with household survey data
  • Experience using statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, etc.
  • Willingness to travel across Indonesia and Australia supervising ieldwork and attending training
  • Execellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Indonesian.
